Marshall, [Indiana], January 7. Mrs. Laura Dooley, 68 years old, a life resident of this community, died Thursday morning in Chicago at the home of a daughter, Mrs. William Kinkaid. She had been an invalid 18 years. Born October 24, 1874, at Marshall, Mrs. Dooley was the daughter of Alfred and Mary Ann Hobson. She was married to Silas Dooley March 5, 1895, the husband preceding her in death, March 18, 1942. Mrs. Dooley was a member of the Marshall Presbyterian Church and had many friends in this community. Surviving besides the daughter at whose home she died, are one son, Clifford Dooley of Marshall; three sisters, Mrs. C.B. Dooley of Waveland, and Mrs. Eva Connerley and Mrs. Rose Williams of Marshall, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Federated Church in Marshall at two o’clock Saturday afternoon with burial at Bethany Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the home of the son in Marshall as the body will be kept there preceding the rites.
